League Updates

The League continues to strengthen its AML training, offering fiscal trainings, relevant CityVision sessions and on-demand courses to support newly elected municipal leaders and staff statewide.

The League reflects on another year of service to our cities and towns. The year 2025 showcased the resilience of local governments across the state and highlighted the League’s continued commitment to supporting municipal officials with helpful resources, education and advocacy.

At CityVision in April, we proudly recognized the first-ever recipients of the Advanced Municipal Leadership (AML) certificates.

The NC League of Municipalities’ membership elects new leaders to its Board of Directors.
