Description
The Ideal Candidate Will Be An Accomplished Professional Who Can Lead An Experienced And Motivated Workforce. The Town Manager Is Appointed By And Works Under The Direction Of An Elected Mayor And A Five-member Board Of Commissioners And Is Responsible For Managing The Day-to-day Operations Of The Town Leading A Workforce Of Approximately 70 Full-time Employees And 25 Part-time And Seasonal Employees And Managing An Operating Budget Of Approximately $25 Million
Qualifications
Qualifications Include Graduation From A Four-year College Or University With A Bachelor’s Degree In Public Administration, Business, Finance, Or Related Field With At Least Five (5) - Seven (7) Years Of Progressively Responsible Professional Experience That Includes Significant Management And Supervisory Experience At Least At The Department Director Or Equivalent Level, Or An Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience. A Master’s Degree In Public Or Business Administration And ICMA Credentialed Manager Certification Is Desirable.
Candidates Should Possess A Broad Knowledge And Experience In The Areas Of Budgeting And Finance, Planning And Zoning, Economic Development, Public Works, Human Resources, And Public Utilities. The Ideal Candidate Has Strong Interpersonal Communication Skills, Is A Consensus Builder, And Is A Motivated And Skilled Leader.
Compensation
Starting Salary Will Be $120,000 - $140,000 Annually.
