2025 NCLM Nominations & Elections

Working As One. Advancing All.

As a member-led and member-driven organization, electing strong leadership is an essential member responsibility. The League's Board of Directors represents a diverse group of cities and towns of all sizes, from the mountains to the coast. Working together with the entire membership, the Board is dedicated to representing the interests of all members and leading the League as one voice for cities and towns working for a better North Carolina.

Election Process

All Candidates

As candidates submit their interest forms, they will be added to this page. Please allow up to three business days from the submission date for candidate profiles to be added to the site. Check back frequently.

Serving on the NCLM Board of Directors requires both a time commitment and a desire to serve cities and towns across the state, embodying the League's motto, "Working as One. Advancing All." Ideal candidates will have a passion for local government and an interest in the success of municipalities statewide. Candidates are expected to attend all board meetings, which requires some travel and incurred costs (some may be reimbursed). There are many opportunities throughout the year for board members to actively advocate for city interests and communicate with state legislators and serve on League board committees.
