Our services, priorities, and even vision for the future are all in response to what cities and towns tell us they need from us. That’s why more than 30 years ago, the League developed a way to provide insurance coverage for local government agencies.
Our insurance pools are self-funded and member-governed so we are 100% committed to providing the insurance coverage options that North Carolina’s local government entities need.
Members may join any of the three insurance pools: Health Benefits Trust, Property & Casualty Trust, and the Workers' Compensation Trust. Each of our pools and our Risk Management Services offer a variety of customizable products to meet your municipality's needs.
