A comprehensive, two-week hybrid leadership development cohort that prepares current and emerging municipal leaders to make sound decisions, reduce organizational risk, and lead with confidence.

Municipal leaders today face increasingly complex legal, operational, financial, and public expectations. Meeting these demands requires strong leadership, sound decision-making, and a proactive approach to managing risk.
The Foundations of Leadership & Public Risk Management program equips current and emerging leaders with practical tools and strategies to navigate these challenges. Delivered through a hybrid format that combines in-person and virtual learning, the program provides flexibility while fostering meaningful collaboration and engagement.

Participants will also have the opportunity to network with municipal leaders from across North Carolina. Those who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate of Completion and formal recognition of their achievement.
