THE TOWN OF HILLSBOROUGH IS LOOKING TO HIRE AN IT MANAGER TO OVERSEE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS FOR THE TOWN AND TO DEFINE AND IMPLEMENT A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR TOWN WIDE IT INFRASTRUCTURE, SECURITY, AND TRAINING. REQUIRES A BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OR RELATED FIELD AND FOUR YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT; OR ANY EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE, WHICH PROVIDES THE REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES. LOCAL GOVERNMENT IT EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED. CERTIFIED GOVERNMENT CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER (CGCIO) CERTIFICATION IS PREFERRED.
