Summary Electric Utilities Assistant Director (Full-Time, Exempt) Electric Utilities Department Salary Range: $90,542.40 - $149,385.60 Closing Date: May 30, 2024 At 11:59PM For Full Job Listing Details And To Apply Online, Please Visit Https:// Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM Job Overview: Responsible For Performing Professional And Administrative Work Overseeing The Design, Installation, Operation, Maintenance, And Repair Of The City’s Electric Transmission And Distribution System To Facilitate The Safe, Efficient, And Effective Delivery Of Reliable Electric Services To Customers; Responsible For Assisting The Electric Utilities Director In Planning, Organizing, And Developing Goals, Objectives, Projects, And Work Assignments In The Electric Utility Division. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree In Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Or A Related Field. Three (3) Years Of Increasingly Responsible Supervisory Experience In The Electric Utility Industry Five (5) Years Of Experience In Computer Skills Using The CADD System (AutoCAD), ARC GIS, SCADA System, And Microsoft Office Products. Special Requirements Possession Of A Valid N.C. Driver’s License Or Ability To Obtain Within 60 Days Of Establishing A Permanent Residence In North Carolina. Possession Of An Active Professional Engineer License (PE) In The State Of North Carolina Or Engineer Intern Certification With Ability To Acquire A Professional Engineer License Within 24 Months Of Hire Date.
