You'll Play A Pivotal Role In Ensuring Our Programs As Well As Our Parks, Greenways, And Playgrounds Meet The Diverse Needs Of Our Community. You'll Serve As The Public Face Of The Department, Engaging With Residents And Other Stakeholders And Promoting Our Programs To Enhance Community Engagement And Participation. Relationship-building Will Be Key To Ensuring Strong Community Connections And Support For Parks & Recreation Initiatives. Leading An Enthusiastic And Talented Team, You'll Provide Mentorship And Guidance While Ensuring Resources Are Managed Wisely To Maximize Impact. Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree Preferred) In Recreation And Parks Administration, Leisure Services, Or A Similar And Related Field. Considerable Experience In Municipal Recreation And Administration With Significant Direct Experience Supervising Staff, Interacting With The Public, And Financial Planning/budgeting. Certification As A Parks And Recreation Professional Or Executive (CPRP/CPRE) Through The National Recreation & Parks Association (NRPA) Is Highly Desirable. Learn More And Apply At
