The North Carolina League Of Municipalities (NCLM) Is Seeking A Workers' Compensation Supervisor. Under The Supervision Of The Manager Of Workers' Compensation, The WC Supervisor Is Responsible For Reviewing And Processing Claims Along With The Management Of The Claims Admin. Department. This Is Accomplished By Reviewing All Incoming Claims And Assigning To The Appropriate Adjuster With Initial Instructions, Recommending Strategies To Bring File To Closure, Monitoring Reserves For Adequacy, Ensuring Daily Mail And Diaries Are Completed In A Timely Manner, Ensuring Conformance To State Regulations And Laws Regarding Workers' Compensation, Developing Work Flow To Aid Adjuster In Claims Handling, Supervising And Evaluating Adjuster Performance, Understanding League Policies, And Monitoring And Evaluating The Workers' Compensation Program Activities To Ensure The Delivery Of Quality Services (I.E. Bill Review, Pharmacy Network, Outside Vendors, Etc.) .
Educational Requirements: Work Requires Broad Knowledge In A General Professional Or Technical Field. Knowledge Is Normally Acquired Through Four Years Of College Resulting In A Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent.
Experience Requirements: Over Nine Years Of Experience In Workers' Compensation. Minimum 4 Years Of Supervisory Experience.
