Salary: $87,440 To $90,440 With Excellent Benefits Package
The Town Of Angier, Located In Wake And Harnett Counties, Is Seeking An Experienced And Collaborative Leader To Serve As The Town’s Next Finance Director. The Ideal Candidate Will Partner With The Town Manager And Is Dedicated To Service, Transparency And Integrity.
Attributes Of The Ideal Candidate: Servant Leader, Experience With Municipal Budgeting And Accounting, Experience Preparing Annual Financial Statements, Strong Communication And Presentation Skills, Relationship Building Skills.
The Finance Director Oversees Primary Operations For The Town Including: Accounts Payable, Cash And Grants Management, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Payroll And Purchasing.
The FY 2023-24 Adopted General Fund Budget Of $7 M. The Town Operates An Enterprise Fund Of $5 M.
Knowledge And Skills
• North Carolina General Statutes Governing Municipal Financial Practices And Procedures.

• Preparation Of Financial Statements
• Ability To Establish Positive Working Relationships With Department Heads, Coworkers, Elected Officials, And The Public.

Education
A Bachelor’s Degree With Coursework In Accounting Or A Related Field Is Preferred. Experience In Municipal Operations, Public Finance, And Budgeting Is Preferred.
A Valid NC Driver’s License Is Required.
