Job Title: Construction And Utilities Program Manager This Position Serves As The Program Manager For The Construction And Utilities Division Of Storm Water Services And Reports To The Division Manager. This Position Will Be Assisting In The Management Of The Division And Support Of Storm Water Services Strategic Priorities, Including Infrastructure Management To Continuously Assess And Improve Drainage To Protect Public Safety And Ensure Long-term Sustainability. This Position Will Manage, Supervise, And Support The Goals Of The Division And Requires A High Level Of Interpersonal, Technical, Collaboration, Community Engagement, And Leadership Skills. Major Duties And Responsibilities: • Assist The Construction And Utilities Division Manager With A Wide Variety Of Work, Including Long-range Planning For Staffing Needs And Budget Review. • Assist In Developing And Implementing The Storm Water Services Comprehensive Strategic Plan And Other Departmental Practices And Policies. • Collaborate With The Engineering And Design Division To Ensure Success Of Capital Improvement Projects. • Lead The Division For Community Engagement Activities And Evaluations. • Support Staff On Resident And Business Interactions And Concerns With A Focus On Consistency And Accountability. Minimum Qualifications: • Professional Engineer License • Bachelor’s Level Degree – Engineering And Five Years Relevant Experience. OR • Master’s Level Degree And Three Years Relevant Experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge And Experience In Storm Water Management, Planning, Design, And Construction Of Storm Water Facilities, Problem Solving, Management, And Supervision. • Working Knowledge Of Construction Inspection (CI) Software. • Experience With Design, Installation, And/or Maintenance Of Storm Drainage Infrastructure. • Experience With NASSCO And/or AASHTO Inspection Standards. • Construction Estimating And Take-off Experience. • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability To Communicate In English And Spanish. • Valid Driver's License, Good Driving Record And Ability To Obtain And Maintain A City Driving Permit.
