The Town Has An Historic And Charming Downtown Which Is Undergoing Renewed Interest And Investment. The Town Is Seeking An Experienced And Forward-thinking Professional Manager. The Duties Include Leadership And Supervision Of All Town Employees, Preparation Of The Annual Budget, Overseeing The Operation Of All Town Operations, Long Range Planning, And Implementation Of The Policies Of The Town Board Of Commissioners. The Town Has A Budget Of $5.9 Million. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, And Have Experience In Supervision, Finance, Personnel, And Water And Wastewater Operations. The Ability To Write And Obtain Grants Is A Huge Plus, Especially If The Applicant Has A Proven Track Record Of Success In This Area. Candidates Should Possess A Degree In Public Administration Or Related Field From An Accredited College Or University And A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience As A Town Manager Or Administrator, And/or A Combination Of Education And Training Which Provides The Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities. Hiring Salary Range Is At The Top End For Towns This Size, And Is Dependent Upon Qualifications, And Experience.
