This Position Will Work With Individuals At All Levels Of The Organization To Solve Complex Challenges Through Consensus Building, While Also Managing A Portfolio Of Operating, Capital, And Enterprise Funds. This Includes Functions Such As: Preparing And Developing The Annual Operating And Capital Budgets, Monitoring And Tracking Budgets For Financial Reporting, Assisting In The Creation, Analysis, And Monitoring Of Citywide Performance Measures, Providing Review And Assessment Of Current And Future Fiscal Years To Confirm Data And Trend Accuracy, And Conducting Research For Special Projects. All Senior Budget And Engagement Analysts Are Expected To Become Subject Matter Experts Regarding Their Assigned Department's Needs, And The Conclusions And Recommendations Must Be Presented In An Unbiased And Professional Manner. The Senior Budget And Engagement Analyst Will Gather Qualitative And Quantitative Input To Inform Budget Decisions And Assess The Impact Of Different Investments On Improving Equity. This Will Include Working With The Department Of Equity And Inclusion And The City's Budget Equity Review Committee. The Senior Budget And Engagement Analyst Will Also Seek To Expand Community Engagement Around The Budget Process.
