Hiring Salary Range: $72,529.00 - $96,705.00 Full Salary Range: $72,529.00 - $120,881.00
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible For Identifying Grant And Other Funding Opportunities And Coordinating The Application Process Across City Departments. Collaborates With Internal And External Partners On The Research, Application, Award, Implementation, Monitoring, And Reporting Of The City's Grant Programs To Serve As A Centralized Resource For Other City Officials. Knowledgeable Of Legislative And Intergovernmental Affairs And Able To Work With Industry Groups, Elected Officials, And Other Governmental Partners To Advance The City's Interests Through Identified Funding Sources And Management Of Grantor Relationships. Contributes To Strategy Meetings And Aligns The City's Funding Opportunities To City Council's Strategic Initiatives And City Strategic Plans, Along With Cost Considerations. Maintains Grant Program Quality Assurance And Develops New Reporting On The City's Grant Program Accomplishments.
Oversees Completion Of The City's American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State And Local Government Fiscal Recovery Award Of $59.4M, Including Awarding Of Contracts, Required Financial Audits/reviews, Program Outcome Management And Financial Reporting As Well As The City's Reporting To The US Department Of Treasury, As Required.
Assists With Approvals Of Certain Grant Reimbursements Along With Oversight Of Other Financial Grant Administration Duties, Including Audits And Required Periodic Reporting. Contributes To The City's Preparation And/or Review Of The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, Including Financial Statements, Footnote Disclosures, And Schedules For External Auditors. Oversees The Indirect Cost Plan Preparation. Contributes To Appropriate Policies And Procedures And Internal Controls Over Grant Awards And Administration.
Provides Technical Assistance On Special Projects And Analyses, As Needed, And Serves On Cross-functional Teams Providing Significant Input. Communicates Extensively With Both Internal And External Customers Of Financial Information.
Responsible For Certain Grant Management Operations Including Preparing And Overseeing An Operating Budget And Supervising Professional Staff.
