Position: Community Development/Downtown Coordinator Department: Community Development Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt Pay Grade: 27 Hiring Range: $49,104.20 - $56,500.00 Closing Date: April 10, 2023 General Statement Of Duties: Develops, Coordinates, Executes And Documents Programs And Services That Promote Public improvements, Revitalization, And Economic Growth And Awareness Of Downtown Mocksville. Distinguishing Features Of The Class Under Regular Supervision The Employee In This Class Works With The Mocksville Tourism Development Authority, Historic Davie, Inc., Main Street Program And Community Development To Promote And establish Public Improvements, Revitalization And Economic Growth For The Town Of Mocksville. Decisions Are Made On The Direction, Goals, And Objective Of The Organization And Involve Highly sensitive And Political Issues Affecting The Organization. The Employee Must Apply Knowledge In The coordination Of Multiple Elements Working In The Same Direction, With Focus On Different Aspects Of A situation Requiring Judgement In Applying Various Rules, Procedures And Decisions That May Affect Quality and Accuracy Of Results. Education And Experience: Bachelor’s Degree In Public Relations, Marketing, Planning, Public Administration Or A Related Field Plus three Years Experience In Community Development Or Related Programs Or An Equivalent Combination Of training And Experience. Special Requirement: Valid North Carolina Driver’s License Application Process: All Applicants Must Complete A Town Of Mocksville Employment Application Available Online At Or At Town Hall.
