This 10-Week Program Was Created To Offer Students Valuable Hands-On Work Experience To Enhance Their Skills And Understanding Of The Rewarding Career Opportunities That Exist In Risk Management And Insurance Pooling.

Rate Of Pay: $20 Per Hour
Internship Dates: The Internship Dates Are May 29th, 2023- July 28th, 2023 And Will Be Located In NCLM's Office In Downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. NCLM Will Offer A Stipend To Cover Summer Intern Housing Through NC State University.
What To Expect: In This Program You Will Rotate Through All Facets Of NCLM's Risk Management Operations To Include: Underwriting- Property & Liability, Health Benefits And Workers Compensation. Risk Control/Safety, Claims, Member Services.
Final Project: Reflection Piece: Upon Completion Of The Internship, You Will Be Asked To Present The Knowledge Acquired Through The League's Risk Management Services Operations, To A Group Of Stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria: NCLM Welcomes Applications From Rising Juniors And Seniors Interested In A Career In Risk Management. Students With At Least A 3.0 Overall GPA Are Strongly Encouraged To Apply.
You Must Be: Enrolled Full-Time At Appalachian State University. Available To Relocate To Raleigh NC For 10 Weeks (May 29th, 2023- July 28th, 2023). Able To Work Full-Time, 37. 5 Hours Each Week (Day Shift; With The Daily Schedule To Vary Slightly). A US Citizen Or Permanent Resident. Committed To Completing The Entire Internship Experience.
