Town Manager Pikeville, NC Town Manager: The Town Of Pikeville, Located In Wayne County On The I-795 Corridor Is Seeking A Full Time Town Manager. Pikeville Is Located Approximately 45 Minutes From Raleigh And 10 Minutes From Goldsboro With Major Highways Connecting To Both. Pikeville Has A Population Of Approximately 750 Residents With A Variety Of Commercial Establishments That It Provides Services To Including Police Protection, Fire Protection (Pikeville Volunteer Fire Department), Water, Wastewater Collection And Treatment, Electric (contract), Garbage Collection (contract), Streets, Storm Drainage, Planning And Zoning, Library, And Parks And Recreation. The Town Has An Operating Budget Of $2.6 Million Plus And Employs 13 Full And Part Time Personnel. The Town Manager Is Expected To Have Leadership And The Management Of People Skills As An Essential Part Of The Resume. The Candidate For The Position Should Have As A Minimum An Undergraduate (prefer Masters) Degree In Public Administration, Business Administration Or Related Field And A Minimum Of 2 Years’ Experience In Progressive Executive Responsibility (preferred In Local Government). Also, The Candidate Should Have Demonstrated Skills In Supervision Of Personnel And Budget Management. Salary Hiring Range Up To $75,000.00 Depending On Qualifications And Experience Along With An Excellent Benefits Package.
