Job Number 03221, Closing 9/13/2022 11:59 PM Eastern Hiring Salary Range: $$68,371 - $91,162 Full Salary Range: $$73,841 - $123,069 Annually Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm The Engineering Supervisor Manages, Directs, And Coordinates The Activities Of The Construction Inspections Section Within The Engineering Division. This Section Manages The Construction Of Streets, Sidewalks, Bridges, Culverts, Underground Water And Sewer Utilities, And Storm Water Structures. The Individual In This Position Coordinates The Activities Of The Construction Inspections Section With The Activities Of The Other Engineering Sections (Property Management, Design, And Surveying) And The Client Departments (Transportation And Water Resources). The Engineering Supervisor Provides Highly Complex Staff Assistance To The Engineering Manager On Construction Engineering Issues And Provides Leadership, Supervision And Development Opportunities For A Staff Of 16 Employees. The Selected Applicant Must Be Able To Read, Understand And Interpret Construction Plans And Specifications; Have General Knowledge Of The Methods, Practices, Materials, Equipment And Costs Of The Construction Of Public Works, Including Asphalt And Concrete Pavements, Underground Water And Sewer Utilities, Storm Water Systems, Bridges, Culverts And Greenways; And Have General Knowledge Of The Maintenance And Repair Of Those Structures. The Selected Applicant Must Have General Knowledge Of Federal, State And Local Codes And Regulations Governing The Design, Contracting, And Construction Of Public Works. The Employee In This Position Should Also Have The Ability To Organize Work For Timely Execution And Be Able To Establish And Maintain Cooperative Working Relationships With Those Contacted In The Course Of Work.
