Who We Seek: Centralina Regional Council Seeks A Highly Motivated, Detail-oriented Individual With Strong Engagement And Communication Skills For The Position Of BOARDS ADMINISTRATOR. Learn More About Our Work At Description Of The Work: Major Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: • Providing Administrative Support For The Centralina Regional Council Board, Centralina Economic Development District Board, Centralina Foundation Board And Board Subcommittees Including But Not Limited To: Agenda Scheduling; Plan, Gather Materials For, Prepare, And Circulate Meeting Agenda Packets; Prepare And Disseminate Meeting Minutes; Maintain Board Records And Documentation; Develop Preparatory Materials For Board Chairs. • Managing Internal And External Signature Routing For Contracts And Agreements. • Organizing And Maintaining Records Of All Centralina Master Agreements, Contracts, Regional Agreements And Other Organization Documentation According To Internal Processes And State Regulations. • Providing Assistance To The Executive Director On Projects Related To Government Affairs And Member Engagement. Desired Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Include But Are Not Limited To: • Knowledge Of NC State Law Regarding Open Public Meetings And Hearings, Including Noticing Requirements. • Requires A High Level Of Discretion And Independent Judgement And Often Requires The Use And Handling Of Confidential Information. • Ability To Multitask And Manage Multiple And Simultaneous Priorities While Managing Time And Resources In An Efficient Manner. • Ability To Establish And Maintain Effective Working Relationships With Local, State And Federal Officials And The General Public. Minimum Experience At A Glance: Bachelor’s Degree In Public Administration, Public Policy Or Other Closely Related Field With 3 To 5 Years’ Experience In Meeting Planning And Coordination, Including Prior Experience Supporting Boards And Executive Management. Notary Public And Certified Clerk Designation Desired But Not Required. Salary Is Depending On Qualifications, Education And Experience.
