THE PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION IS TO MANAGE A COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY AND RISK MANAGEMENT PROGRAM THAT INCLUDES OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY AND TRAINING, WORKERS COMPENSATION, AND PROPERTY, CASUALTY AND LIABILITY INSURANCE PROGRAMS. THE RISK MANAGER IS A MEMBER OF THE TOWN’S SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RISK IDENTIFICATION AND EVALUATION, LOSS CONTROL PROGRAMS, SECURITY PROGRAMS, AND CLAIMS MANAGEMENT AND ANALYSIS.
