FACILITATES THE DEVELOPMENT OF STRATEGY AND POLICY FOR THE TOWN OF TROUTMAN AND ENSURES THAT THE TOWN’S MISSION, CORE VALUES, AND GOALS ARE INCORPORATED INTO ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES. ALSO PLANS, DIRECTS, MANAGES, AND OVERSEES THE ACTIVITIES AND OPERATIONS OF THE TOWN’S COMPREHENSIVE PERSONNEL PROGRAM PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR AND SERVING AS A POINT OF CONTACT FOR EMPLOYEE SERVICES INCLUSIVE OF HEALTH INSURANCE, HUMAN RESOURCES, WORKER’S COMPENSATION ADMINISTRATION, AND PROPERTY/CASUALTY INSURANCE ADMINISTRATION. PROVIDES DIRECTION, LEADERSHIP AND OVERSIGHT TO THE TOWN OF TROUTMAN’S INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS. ALL OTHER RELATIVE WORK AS ASSIGNED BY THE TOWN MANAGER. BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE IN COMMUNICATIONS, MARKETING, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, OR A CLOSELY RELATED FIELD AND FOUR YEARS PROFESSIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE AND/OR COMMUNICATION/MARKETING EXPERIENCE OR THE EQUIVALENT IN COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION. LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED. HIRING RATE $53,635, AVERAGE $63,725. PAY RATE DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE, PLUS BENEFITS. POSITION WILL BE OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
