THE TOWN OF CAPE CARTERET IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE TOWN CLERK/HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER POSITION. THE TOWN CLERK/HR OFFICER POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SERVING AS THE CLERK TO THE TOWN'S BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS AND TO THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND PERFORMING A VARIETY OF CLERICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION IS ORGANIZED, TACTFUL, SELF-MOTIVATED, AND ABLE TO WORK ON MULTIPLE TASKS SIMULTANEOUSLY AND TO COMPLETE THESE TASKS IN AN EFFICIENT AND TIMELY MANNER. THE TOWN IS LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS A TEAM PLAYER, WHO IS ABLE TO UTILIZE CONFLICT RESOLUTION SKILLS TO SUCCESSFULLY ADDRESS ISSUES AND CONCERNS AS THEY ARISE. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN CONFIDENTIALITY IN PERSONNEL MATTERS AND TO RESPOND APPROPRIATELY AND PROFESSIONALLY TO HUMAN RESOURCE MATTERS.
