DESCRIPTION: WORKING UNDER THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES, THE HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST ADMINISTERS A WIDE RANGE OF HR FUNCTIONS AND PROGRAMS INCLUDING RECRUITMENT, VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT , FMLA AND OUR WELLNESS PROGRAM. THE GENERALIST ALSO FACILITATES EMPLOYEE ORIENTATION AND ASSISTS WITH SPECIAL PROJECTS AND DEPARTMENT WIDE INITIATIVES. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE HAS STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL, IS ABLE TO USE SOUND JUDGMENT TO MAKE DECISIONS AND CAN BALANCE AND PRIORITIZE MULTIPLE PROJECTS AND TASKS. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN HUMAN RESOURCES AND THREE TO FIVE YEARS OF HUMAN RESOURCES EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR; OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE.
