THE TOWN OF CHADBOURN, NORTH CAROLINA HAS AN OPENING FOR AN ASSISTANT TOWN MANAGER. NEW FULL-TIME POSITION. GRANT FUNDED FOR THREE YEARS. REPORTS TO TOWN MANAGER. PERSON WOULD SERVE AS TOWN’S PLANNING AND ZONING ADMINISTRATOR, CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR, PARKS AND RECREATION DIRECTOR, AND WOULD HELP PLAN, DIRECT, SUPERVISE, AND PARTICIPATE IN ALL GENERAL FINANCIAL, AND ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS, INCLUDING THE ANNUAL BUDGETARY PROCESS. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: A BACHELOR’S DEGREE FROM AN ACCREDITED COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, A RELATED FIELD OF ADMINISTRATION OR GOVERNMENT. A MASTER’S DEGREE IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OR BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, AND/OR PRIOR RELATED EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A MUNICIPAL JURISDICTION, A PUBLIC ENTITY OR A NON-PROFIT ENTITY IS PREFERRED.
