Join us in Concord, for the Metropolitan Mayors Coalition Annual Meeting!
The Metropolitan Mayors Coalition meeting, hosted by Concord Mayor - Bill Dusch, will be held December 7-8, at the Great Wolf Lodge’s well-appointed conference center. Our Annual Dinner will be held on the evening of Thursday, December 7 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, overlooking the speedway Christmas lights.
Sessions will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 7 and will adjourn at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 8 (with a to-go lunch).
The Metro Mayors Coalition Annual meeting brings together our metro mayors (city managers are encouraged to attend as well) for discussions and presentations on timely and important topics such as transportation, affordable housing, homelessness and public safety. There will be a special session for mayors only to share information, as well as a concurrent session for city managers and select staff who are always encouraged to join the annual meeting. There will also be an annual business meeting, where the Coalition will elect officers for the next year. A draft agenda will be available soon.
The Great Wolf Lodge has offered an extraordinary rate for our stay (please click here for hotel information - room reservations are NOT included in meeting registration) and the hotel's General Manager will be hosting a reception immediately following the host city tour. For anyone interested in staying an extra night, the hotel has extended the overnight, group rate for Friday, December 8 (family members may join).
