Creating inclusive, diverse workplaces is more than a “nice” thing to do. Research shows that diverse teams are more creative, innovative and higher performing. Diversity in the workplace is not only beneficial to employees, but also to the overall goals of your organization and municipality.

The North Carolina League of Municipalities is providing training that will help you understand and identify common biases and learn ways to foster a more inclusive workplace. Participants should expect to explore how microinequities impact workplace culture and increase cultural sensitivity.
