We are currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager. This opening was created due to a recent retirement in our Finance Department. This position performs difficult complex professional accounting work including supervising the accounts payable and payroll functions for the Town of Cary. The work involves significant contact with employees of other departments and the work is performed under the general supervision of the Assistant Finance Director. It requires independent judgment and supervision is exercised over subordinate personnel. Hiring range is $60,382.40 - $72,196.80. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in accounting and considerable experience in local government finance, including lead work or supervision. Hours of work: Monday- Friday, 8:00am- 5:00pm. The Town offers an excellent benefits package.
