Assistant Town Manager - Holly Springs. The Town of Holly Springs is seeking candidates for a new Assistant Town Manager position to perform complex professional and administrative work assisting the Town Manager with a broad range of management functions for the Town, primarily focused on Utility Fund Operations and Infrastructure Development. Position may forecast the need for capital infrastructure projects; provide oversight management of assigned departments and personnel; administer and coordinate special projects and research; develop and implement policies and programs; research data and trends for budget and policy development; and assist the Town Manager with intragovernmental relations and issues with agencies, groups and the public. Position will oversee long-term planning of the Town's utilities and transportation systems. Work may also involve representing the Town in a variety of meetings; preparing or coordinating financial and budget documents and/or projects; attending and presenting at Town Council meetings; and coordinating and preparing special research reports on a wide variety of functions and issues for the Town. Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field and 8-10 years of experience in a municipal environment, five of which must have been at the senior management level with significant experience overseeing large programs including operations and capital budgeting and/or supervision. Prefer experience in utilities, engineering and development.  PE designation preferred. Hiring range $97,047 - $112,000 depending on experience.
