Deputy Director of Code Administration – Brunswick County. Salary Range: $51,103-$72,000/ Annually. Status: Full-Time. Application Deadline: Open Until Filled. General Statement of Duties: Brunswick County is seeking an experienced, innovative, and knowledgeable Deputy Director of Code Administration. This is an exempt position and will work under limited supervision to provide both supervision and administration of the Inspections Division. This position will be responsible for training, scheduling, and evaluating employees and recommending salary actions and disciplinary actions. Reports to the Director of Code Administration. Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with major course work in Building Construction Management, or related field and three to five years of experience in project management and code enforcement or related work in local government; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Technically proficient in Microsoft Office.  Ability to report and analyze data. Must possess current standard or probationary certificates in building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical trades at level III certification. These certifications are issued be the North Carolina Code Officials Qualification Board. Most possess a valid North Carolina state driver's license.
