STORMWATER MANAGER/FIELD TECHNICIAN - Sunset Beach, permanent population 4,900 (15,000 seasonal). The Town of Sunset Beach, North Carolina seeks a full-time qualified person to fill the position of Stormwater Manager. Requires the ability to obtain a thorough knowledge of the Stormwater Plan, and engineering principles and practices applicable to surface water and drainage systems, planning, design, construction, maintenance and operations. Requires the ability to interpret and analyze technical data and prepare oral and written reports and have the familiarity with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Performs code related enforcement as required. Performs management level project development and implementation, and budget management and community outreach. Performs data collection, grant applications, analysis, and policy formulation. Performs related duties as assigned. Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
