Key Accounts & Business Analyst – ElectriCities. We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of our Programs & Services team. The Key Accounts & Business Analyst is responsible for developing and managing partnerships with our members in public power and the delivery and management of value-added programs and services to those members and their customers.  This position will be located in Raleigh, NC. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Develop, deliver, and manage competitive programs and services, including energy services and industrial retention programs, that address the needs of members’ key commercial and industrial (C&I) accounts. Establish and maintain relationships with the management of the members’ customers that have been identified as Key Accounts by the member cities. Provide project management and technical support for services provided to members. Assume a primary role with the development, or oversight of development by contract, of data analytic tools and reports used to assist members and their customers’ energy usage. Conduct/coordinate technical analysis of customers' electrical consumption and processes to recommend improvements and promote electro technologies where appropriate. Conduct regular, ongoing market research to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of NC Public Power's marketing programs and rates related to their C&I customers. Qualified candidates will possess the following: A BA or BS degree in business, engineering, or marketing. A minimum of two years of experience related to utility marketing and/or electric distribution systems and familiarity of key account management. Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Working knowledge of how consumers use energy and developing technologies related to industry and data analytics. Ability to independently create and manage programs to aid the members’ load growth efforts and Demand Side Management programs. Experience in direct customer contact and demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining customer relationships. Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility and willingness to work outside of normal business hours, traveling to participant cities and other locations as needed.  A valid driver’s license is required.
