Buyers Guide

Note: The League no longer publishes a Buyers' Guide

Municipal officials in more than 540 North Carolina cities, towns and villages rely on the NCLM Directory of North Carolina Municipal Officials & Buyers' Guide for essential information on active municipalities in this state.

The Buyers' Guide, published in the Spring of each year, offers a terrific opportunity to list the services or products your firm provides to cities and towns in a trusted publication. It offers a prime opportunity to place a by-service listing or display ad in a highly-used reference publication kept on the desks of hundreds of municipal managers and elected officials across the state.

The Directory & Buyers’ Guide is used extensively by local, state and federal officials as a quick source of information — making it the desk reference of choice for municipal managers, clerks and other government officials across the state. More than 2,000 of these "city official's yellow pages" are distributed annually.

Advertising in the Buyers' Guide

A standard listing includes your firm's logo, contact information and service description. In addition, display ads are available, including the inside front cover or the inside back cover in two colors.

The League solicits Buyers' Guide participants early in the year and sends out an advertising packet with a contract and information about placing a listing or display ad. If you are interested in receiving this Buyer's Guide packet, send an email with your mailing address to dbayley@nclm.org or call (919) 715-3921.

Advertisers will also receive a complimentary copy of the directory, which sells for $45.
