FROM West/Northwest I-40, US 70

• I-40: Take exit 289 onto Wade Avenue. After traveling through the red light intersection with St. Mary's Street, get in the right-hand lane. As Wade Avenue ends, follow a small green exit sign to exit right onto Capital Boulevard South towards downtown. Capital Boulevard becomes Dawson Street.  Turn left at the second red light onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks ahead on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. Then, take the next left onto Lane Street. The LOB will be on the second building on the right.
• US 70: US 70 becomes Glenwood Avenue. Stay on Glenwood to Wade Avenue. Cross the overpass and exit on Wade Avenue East. As Wade Avenue ends, follow a small green exit sign to exit right onto Capital Boulevard South towards downtown. Capital Boulevard becomes Dawson Street.  Turn left at the second red light onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks ahead on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. Then, take the next left onto Lane Street. The LOB will be on the second building on the right.
• Parking: Pass the Legislative Building and turn left on Wilmington Street. Go straight two blocks, then merge left at the end of the block for a U-turn onto North Salisbury Street. Visitor parking is located at the third parking deck on the right (Deck #75). The LOB and the Legislative Building are located across the street from the parking deck.

FROM Northeast US 64, US 1, and US 401

• US 64: Take exit 419 to merge onto I-440 W toward US 1/Wake Forest. Take the US 401 S/Capital Boulevard exit toward downtown. Capital Boulevard becomes Dawson Street. Turn left at the second red light onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks ahead on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. Then, take the next left onto Lane Street. The LOB will be on the second building on the right.
• US 1 and US 401: Capital Boulevard becomes Dawson Street. Capital Boulevard becomes Dawson Street.  Turn left at the second red light onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks ahead on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. Then, take the next left onto Lane Street. The LOB will be on the second building on the right.
• Parking: Pass the Legislative Building and turn left on Wilmington Street. Go straight two blocks, then merge left at the end of the block for a U-turn onto North Salisbury Street. FROM East/ Southeast I-40, US 70

• US 70: US 70 merges into US 401 N/S Saunders Street, which becomes McDowell Street as you enter downtwon. Continue north and stay right on McDowell Street. After passing through the red light for Edenton Street, take the next right onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks away on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. Then, take the next left onto Lane Street. The LOB will be on the second building on the right.
• I-40: Take the S Saunders Street exit north toward downtown. Travel north on S Saunders Street, which becomes McDowell Street as you enter downtown. Continue north and stay right on McDowell Street. After passing through the red light for Edenton Street, take the next right onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks away on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. • US 1 and US 64: Exit onto I-40 East. Take the S Saunders Street exit north toward downtown. Travel north on S Saunders Street, which becomes McDowell Street as you enter downtown. Continue north and stay right on McDowell Street. After passing through the red light for Edenton Street, take the next right onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks away on the left. To get to the Legislative Office Building (LOB), pass the Legislative Building and take your next left onto Wilmington Street. Then, take the next left onto Lane Street. The LOB will be on the second building on the right.
• US 401: US 401 N merges with US 70 W/S Saunders Street, which becomes McDowell Street as you enter downtwon. Continue north and stay right on McDowell Street. After passing through the red light for Edenton Street, take the next right onto Jones Street. The Legislative Building will be located 2 blocks away on the left.
