Wellness and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Services

Are you looking to help your employees and their families while also saving money? The North Carolina League of Municipalities Risk Management Services provides Wellness Program and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) consultative services. These individualized Wellness and EAP consultative services can improve the quality of life and reduce health, accident, and workers' compensation costs.

League members that participate in either the Workers' Compensation or the Medical Insurance pools are also eligible to apply for grant funds that can be used to start, maintain, or enhance either or both a Wellness Program and EAP at work. Note: Wellness grants are only available through the Health Program.

Wellness and EAP program services include: In-person or telephone consultation resulting in either formal or informal recommendations designed to promote the development and enhancement of high quality and effective Wellness and Employee Assistance Programs.

Funding may be available through the League's Risk Management Services Wellness Incentive or Wellness Ongoing Grant programs and through the EAP Incentive or EAP Ongoing Grant programs. If your municipality is in either the MIT Medical or NCIRMA Workers' Compensation Insurance pools, it is eligible for a free wellness or employee assistance program consultation.
