The focus of the League's environmental programs is:
to ensure that municipal concerns are addressed in the state and federal environmental regulatory process; and
to monitor the state and federal environmental rule-making process; and
to inform North Carolina municipal officials about environmental issues and opportunities to become involved in the development of environmental policies.
