
Grant proposals for Section 319 grants
Interested Parties:
Proposals are now being solicited for projects to address runoff pollution (also known as nonpoint source pollution or NPS) in North Carolina. Approximately $2.6 million of federal funds are available for purposes ranging from innovative demonstration projects, public outreach and education to on-the-ground water quality restoration. Funds are provided pursuant to Section 319(h) of the Clean Water Act.
Below is the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the FY 2009 grant cycle for the Clean Water Act Section 319(h) Grant, FY 2009 application form, and guidance for submitting applications. State and local governments, interstate agencies, and public and private nonprofit organizations are all eligible to apply. Applications are due by 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2009.
