Archdale
Town Manager Gary parker resigned effective January 19 to take a job as Fort Myers Beach, Florida’s manager.

Atlantic Beach
Town Manager Chuck Cooper retired on December 31.
Tommy Combs was named interim manager effective January 15.

Belville
Tracie Davis is the town’s administrator.

Calypso
Larry Cashwell was appointed to the town board in October. He filled the seat vacated by Jason Stevens on October 1.

Cameron
Sheila Edmunds replaced Sandra McKinney as commissioner.

Coats
Tony White has been named town administrator.

Cornelius
Benson Hoyle was named police chief. Hoyle was previously Mount Holly’s chief.

Fayetteville
Dal Iman has been named city manager. Acting Manager Kyle Sonnenberg is an assistant city manager.
Tom Bergamine has been named police chief. He replaced Tom McCarthy, who retired. Bergamine has been with the Fayetteville force for 28 years.

Greenville
Recreation director H. Boyd Lee Jr. retired on December 31.

Holly Ridge
Tony Fann has been named town manager.
Police Chief John Maiorano had been town manager. He’s now back to being police chief full-time.

Kannapolis
Clyde “Ernie” Hiers was named fire chief in January.

Kernersville
Marvin Davis is the new town manager. He was previously deputy city manager in Greenville. His first day in Kernersville was January 8.

Kings Mountain
Marilyn Sellers, who had been the interim manager for nine months, was hired permanently in December.

Kinston
Scott Stevens is the new assistant city manager. He was public services director. Stevens replaced Phil Robey, who left in September for a job in Greenville, S.C.

Lillington
Tommy Burns has been named town manager. He was formerly the town administrator in Coats.

Maxton
Jackie Robinson replaced Terry Gallman as town clerk in early January.

Mount Holly
Former Gastonia City Manager Ed Munn was hired as interim town manager. Munn replaced David Kraus, who left in December to become city manager of Lake City, Florida.

Murfreesboro
David Overton has been named interim administrator. Though retired,
he formerly worked for the town of Windsor.

Newton
Hired Maiden Town Manager Todd Clark as new city manager.
He started in mid-February.

Oriental
The town has a new official website: www.townoforiental.com

Parkton
The town’s street address is now: 28 David Parnell Street.
Angela Young is town clerk.
Kim McKeldin is tax collector.
Roy Lowder is no longer the public works director.
Terry Wagers is the new director.
Larry Hagin is mayor,
and aldermen are: Al McMillan, Fran Meinert, Benton Finley, Alf Parnell and William Brisson.

Pineville

Deborah Fowler replaced W.F. Blankenship Jr. as council member

Pittsboro

Ramseur
Elton Smith was picked in early December to fill the vacancy on the board of commissioners. Smith will finish the unexpired term of Kevin Franklin, who was hired to be town administrator.

Red Springs

Robbins
Mickey Brown resigned as mayor in January. In mid-January, Laura Ann Brady became the first female mayor of the town.

Seven Springs
Mayor Jewel Kilpatrick resigned in mid-January.

Whiteville
Biscoe Manager Joshua Ray has been named town manager. He began work on February 14.
