Field visits

Members of the League staff will visit your municipality to provide a variety of services. Staff of the Members Services Division spend much of their time making field visits to member cities and towns to answer questions about League services, provide information about new programs, consult with staff and elected officials about potential problems and offer assistance with insurance questions.

Also working onsite with cities and towns regularly are members of the Risk Management Services Loss Control and Health Services Staff. These individuals work with RMS insurance program participants on a variety of programs related to job safety and wellness. [click here for more details.] RMS claims adjusters are frequent visitors to program participants, and other members of the Risk Management Services staff also make field visits on a regular basis.

NCLM staff, upon request, speak to staff and governing boards on a variety of issues, ranging from hiring a manager to public relations issues to legislative updates.

To request a field visit from member services, contact Rob Shepherd (rshepherd@nclm.org)
at 800-228-0986.

To request a visit from a member of the RMS Loss Control and Health Services, contact Jim Davenport (jdavenpo@nclm.org) at 800-228-0986.
