Monitoring and attending all legislative committees dealing with municipal issues during the legislative session.
Testifying on municipal positions.
Individual meetings and lobbying to represent the municipal viewpoint.
Consult with individual cities and towns on local bills and issues.
Reporting to cities and towns on legislative actions or potential legislative action - done individually, by LegisFax, by the weekly Legislative Bulletin, the Federal Update and through group meetings.
Analysis of state legislation and its effect on cities and towns.
Lobbying members of congressional delegation on NC municipal viewpoints.
Coordinating North Carolina activities with those of National League of Cities.
Communication with membership on federal issues and their impact on cities and towns.
