Issues offering regional community forums in July
Triad Region Community Forum
The Institute for Emerging Issues (IEI) is pleased to be partnering with UNC-TV in its convening of Community Forums in the Triad and Fort Bragg regions in July. The partnership will merge the efforts of IEI's program of work on Growth and Infrastructure and PBS's initiative on America's aging infrastructure called “ Blueprint America : Road to the Future.”
The Triad Region Community Forum will draw attention to promising infrastructure investment strategies and the importance of cross-jurisdictional collaboration when managing, building and maintaining our critical built infrastructure. Specifically, attendees will learn about the region's growing logistics industry and discuss local financing options to support regional infrastructure needs, including the use of public-private partnerships.
The Triad Region Community Forum is free and open to the public but space is limited. Please click here to register and receive further information about the event. Your engagement is critical and we hope you will participate! Please mark your calendars:
